Day 01 : Arrival / Delhi
After traditional arrival in Delhi aboard you deluxe car to the
Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast we proceed for a guided Tour of New Delhi
starting with a visit of Birla temple (Hindu Religion) made in 1938.
Then we visit India’s largest mosque jama masjid and drive outside
the Red Fort which was built by Shah Jehan the builder of Taj Mahal
in Agra. Then we stop at Raj Ghat where the founder of the nation
Mahatma Gandhi and thereafter Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were
cremated. Continue drive to the war Memorial Arch (India gate 139
feet high which records the names of more than 60,000 soldiers who
died in World War I) , and then to the Viceroy’s House (Rashtrapati
Bhawan) where the President of India lives.
After Lunch, we visit the 238 feet high tower Qutub Minar, Humayun’s
Tomb (1569) and drive through the embassy area, the government
buildings and Cannaught place, the heart and main shopping district
of the capital.
Overnight in Hotel. Day 03 : Delhi /
Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra. After noon visit to Agra
Fort, the great Mughal emperor Akbar commissioned the construction
of the Agra Fort in 1565-AD although additions were made till the
time of his grandson Shah Jehan. Agra is a city of the Taj Mahal,
the most photographed monument in the world. At Sunset we visit the
Taj Mahal to witness the spectacular monument built for love.
Overnight at the Hotel. Day 04 :
Agra / Fathepur Sikri
/ Jaipur
After breakfast we drive to Jaipur visiting Fathepur Sikri (37
km's from Agra). This deserted city has two distinct complexes. The
first comprises the royal enclosure of the palace, the harem and
official buildings and second is the dargah of the saint with a
mosque and lofty gateways. Continue drive to Jaipur and check in the
hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur
In the morning we visit the 5 storey façade Palace of winds also
called as Hawa Mahal built in 1799 used by the royal ladies.
Continue drive to the Amber Fort, approaching the fort on elephant
back. It includes the beautiful courtyards inside the fort with
garden, temple, palace for ladies and the exquisite Hall of
Mirrors. Then we visit the City Palace. The museum within the
palace house a fabulous collection of textiles, carpets, manuscripts
and costumes from the personal collection of the royal family; the
Jantar Mantar, the ancient observatory, is the creation of the
scholar king Sawai Jai Singh. The name literally means
“Instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens". Evening
free to explore the city and shopping experience in some of the
popular stores here. Day 06 :
Jaipur / Jodhpur
Early morning drive to Jodhpur – “the blue city". Upon
arrival check in Hotel. Late afternoon, ride horse carriages in the
clock tower bazaar. This is one of India’s largest and most
colourful markets especially with respect to clothes, fabrics,
spices, vegetables, etc.

Day 07 :
Jodhpur / Osian /
Jodhpur
Morning proceed on a guided tour of Jodhpur. The tour includes
the massive fort. In olden days this must have been impregnable
since its rocky base is scraped straight down making it nearly
impossible to ascend. Once inside, royal palaces abound with
fascinating history and priceless jewels, on to the armory and
Jaswant Thara – The Royal Crematorium. |

Later we proceed to an excursion to Osian, known for its sixteen
ruined Jain and Hindu temples. These temple dates back to 8th & 11th
Centuries. Evening drive back to Jaipur. Overnight in Hotel. |
Day 08 : Jodhpur /
Udaipur
After breakfast drive to Udaipur – the famed “city of
sunrise". Founded in 1567 by Maharana Udai Singh, from the
lineage of the legendry Sisodias of Mewar – the decedents of Sun
God. A city where sun truly never sets, where tradition and a strict
code of heroism were happily united with a love of fine living. A
city that has come to be an oasis of romance in the warrior state of
Rajasthan.
Upon arrival check in Hotel. Afternoon, we proceed on a tour of this
“Lake City" Udaipur is a cool oasis in the dry heart of
Rajasthan. It is probably the most romantic city in a state where
every city has some romantic or exotic tale to tell.
The Huge City Palace towering over the Lake Pichola is the largest
complex in Rajasthan. Though it is a conglomeration of buildings
built by successive rulers, it manages to retain a surprising
uniformity of design and afford very fine view of the lake and the
city from the upper terraces. The Jagdish temple next to the city
palace enshrines black stone images of Lord Vishnu and his vehicle –
a mighty bird called Garuda – in a brass image. The temple is a very
fine example of Indo-Aryan Art. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 09 : Udaipur / Ranakpur /
Udaipur

After breakfast drive to Ranakpur. The Ranakpur Jain temple was
built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha
in the 15th century. The basement is of 48,000 sq feet area that
covers the whole complex. There are four subsidiary shrines, 24
pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over 100 columns. The
total number of columns is 1444 all of which are intricately carved
with no two being alike. |

The main temple is of chaumukh or four–faces temple dedicated to
Adinath. Evening return back to Udaipur and relax in the Hotel. |
Day 10 : Udaipur /
Delhi
Morning transfer to the Airport for your flight to Delhi and
take the flight back home from Delhi – Indira Gandhi International
Airport.
